Abstract
This paper considers a hybrid flowshop scheduling problem with JIT technical constraints based on the process of steel making-continuous casting. A model of GT is constructed according to characteristics of the problem, and a two stage heuristic algorithm is proposed to find minimize mean flowtime. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm is shown by computing results.
