Abstract: The bullwhip effect quantification problem, the statistic analysis and the control engineering quantification scheme are discussed. The bullwhip effect's weakening and controlling problems, logistics strategies to weaken the bullwhip effect and the method adopting shared information to reduce the bullwhip effect are studied. Some control schemes to weaken the bullwhip effect are analyzed, and the bullwhip effect control scheme's theoretical design is shown. Finally, according to the universal problems of the bullwhip effect in supply chain, some unsettled problems at present and the further investigation directions are proposed.
