    Abstract: In this paper,time-separating predictive control and internal model control technique,used in benzene oxidizing fixed-bed reactor, is analysed. It is obviously effective for time-delay compensation and the control characteristics improvement. In the past two years practice, it ran with good performance and was certified to be practical.
