Abstract:
Firstly, the design of robust PID controller based on the min-max principle is analyzed. The problem is known to be a kind of complex non-linear and non-single saddle-point optimization problem, can't be solved efficiently by conventional optimization methods. Then, the parameter tuning method via artificial fish school algorithm(AFSA)is proposed. At last, the simulation studies on typical problems are carried out.It shows that the AFSA has distributed parallel searching ability and isn't sensitive to initial values. It can tune the parameters of robust PID controller quickly, and the controller has good control performance.
