Abstract:
An integrative model of dynamic traffic assignment and traffic control in saturated networks is presented. This model is formulated as a bi-level programming problem. The goal of the upper-level sub-problem is dynamic user equilibrium and the lower-level is dynamic system optimum.Especially, the queuing of vehicles and the driversroute choice behavior are considered explicitly. The approach of combining the genetic algorithm and nonlinear optimum programming method to solve the integrative model is proposed.
