Abstract:
A scheme of LST-STBC space-time coding is proposed for distributed multiple input multiple output(MIMO) system in generalized distributed antenna array architecture of the future wireless communication system.The combina-tion between layered space-time(LST) architecture with error control coding and space-time block codes(STBC) based on orthogonal design in the scheme obtains diversity and multiplexing gains synchronously.As the proposed structure of space-time coding,the iterative detection algorithm based on the soft interference cancellation with minimum mean squared error(MMSE) is employed in the receiver.The soft information exchanged iteratively between detector and decoder decreases bits error rate successfully.The simulation results manifest that the proposed space-time coding scheme based on iterative detection algorithm in the receiver improves transmission rate and quality of the distributed MIMO system efficiently.
