Abstract: Process management,which is put into practice by workflow management system (WFMS),is the effective operating pattern of agile supply chain (ASC).The characteristics of process and its management and control principle in ASC is analyzed.Based on the workflow and distributed object technology,the function strategy,information distribution,and communication concepts of WFMS is presented.The system structure,functions,and realization of WFMS,which supports optimized operation of ASC effectively,are also introduced.
