Abstract:
Based on the emerging methodology of feedback control and network scheduling codesign,a cascaded feedback scheduling scheme is proposed for multi-loop networked control systems that operate in dynamic environments. The goal is to optimize the overall control performance of the system. In response to dynamic variations of the available bandwidth resources, the sampling periods of the control loops are adjusted during run-time so that the deadline miss ratio is kept at a desired low level and the available bandwidth is distributed in an optimal fashion.Simulation results show that the proposed method can significantly improve the overall control performance in comparison with the traditional system design method.
