Abstract: The qualitative modeling and qualitative control of complex system is overviewed.Firstly,the theoretic background and research methods of qualitative modeling besides the quality of qualitative model are described and discussed respectively.And then,the research development is introduced and the qualitative control methods are classified.Besides,the design of qualitative controller and the quality of the system are discussed.Finally,their further research development is remarked.
