Abstract: Biometrics,which is a kind of science of using individual personal characteristics to verify identity, is inherently more reliable than traditional methods such as passwords and PIN numbers. Firstly, this paper summarizes briefly biometric identification techniques. Then multibiometrics its principle, and approaches are introduced. The prospect and development of biometrics are also analyzed.
