Abstract: The charateristics of agent oriented analysis and design method are presented by research on agent model and architecture of multi-agents system. Then the applications of agent-oriented system analysis and design method in research and development of large complex system are summarized, such as the applications in advanced manufacturing system, the applications in cooperative control of robotics, and the applications in Internet. The significance of this method is also discussed.
