Abstract: This paper describes the theory and method of establishing the predictive model for the process of glutamic acid permentation with the information coming from the log-sheets of a 150M³ fermentor located in Shanghai Teanchu monosodium factory.Least-square method and Simplex method have been employed for parameters determination.The result of simulation shows that the predictive model established by authorsfits real plant dynamic behaviour quite well.
