Abstract:
The influence of four virtual force models with multiple adjustable parameters,such as Coulomb force model,on the performances of coverage algorithm for wireless sensor networks(WSN) based on virtual force are described.Four evaluation factors are chosen to evaluate these virtual force models,these are coverage increment rate,iterative counts of algorithm,coverage efficient and average movement distance of nodes.The results show that,virtual force model with the three parameters,gravitation,repulsion coefficient and distance threshold,has better performance in the coverage algorithm of WSN.
