Abstract: This paper gives a new phase type structure method for reliability analysis on CIMS production line with velocity adjusted by buffer. By using the closed loop queue network of quasi birth and deathprocesses,we obtain all the reliability indexes and production indexes of system. The local phase type structures of the system are given.
