Abstract: In this paper a directly searching algorithm-complex method for μ synthesis of constrained structure controllers is put forward, by which the computational quantity in μ synthesis can be greatly reduced,and controller degree can be reduced, thus it will be of great value to the engineering practices. Also, the performance of algorithm is quite satisfactory in some examples.
