Abstract: Based on white noise estimation theory, this paper presents a new optimal and self-tuning deconvolution filter and smoother for single channel ARMA signals. It can handle nonstationary ARMA input signals and unstable and/or nonminimum phase systems.A simulation example with application to radar tracking system is given.
