Abstract: Focused on the principles,properties and applications of fault-tolerant controllers,a number of typical methods for the design of fault-tolerant controllers in dynamic systems are reviewed.The typical failure detection and isolation methods and the methods of designing fault-tolerant controllers are presented.Finally,the directions of future research on fault-tolerant control systems are discussed.
