水下光图象中反向散射和小角度正向散射噪声的抑制

THE RESTRAINT OF BACKSCATTER AND SMALL-ANGLE FORWARD SCATTER NOISE FOR UNDERWATER LIGHT IMAGE

  • 摘要: 本文首先分析了水下光图象的特性——极其低劣的对比度和分辨率.指出了影响水下光图象质量的因素主要是反向散射和小角度正向散射.从而建立了水下光图象的数学模型.然后分析设计了一种适合于处理水下光图象的自适应增强滤波器.并结合水下光图象的特点以及此算法存在的三个严重缺陷:①产生“振铃”响应;②产生“椒盐”噪声;③由于图象中存在较高频率的噪声,在增强图象细节的同时,也增强了图象噪声,分别进行了深入的探讨并加以改进.从而较完善地提出了改进的自适应增强滤波器算法.针对水下图象处理后,效果令人满意.

     

    Abstract: The paper firstly analysed the character of underwater light image——very low contrast and resolution.The main factors affecting the quality of underwater light image are backscatter and small-angle forward scatter.A mathematical model of underwater light image was built.Then a special adaptive enhancement filter was analysed and devised for such image.The algorithm has three shortcomings:(1)"ring"response;(2)"salt and pepper"noise;(3)simultaneous enhancement of high frequency noise and image details.But our improved adaptive enhancement filter algorithm,as shown by experiment,has surmounted them.
