Abstract:
The clustering of gene expression data is an essential technique for discovering functions of genes and building gene regulation network.The application of computational intelligence in this field creates a new way for the analysis of massive amounts of gene data.According to the characteristics of gene expression data,the key problems of the clustering of gene expression data are firstly proposed in this survey.Then the general framework of the clustering of gene expression data is discussed.Moreover,a variety of computational intelligence approaches are reviewed for this issue.Finally,this survey points out main future directions of computational intelligence in the clustering field of gene expression data.
