DISCUSSION OF IP TECHNOLOGY AND ATM TECHNOLOGY

摘要: 本文对IP与ATM这两种技术进行了对比分析；介绍了IPoverATM技术并探讨了其优缺点；最后介绍了IPoverwmATM技术及其在第三代无线通信系统中的应用．

Abstract: In this paper,IP and ATM are contrasted and analyzed. We introduce the technology of IP over ATM and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of it. At last,The technology of IP over wmATM and its application to third generation of wireless Communications are introduced.
