Abstract:
To solve the problem of coordination and optimization of lot plannings in steelmaking and hot rolling, different slab delivery forms and scheduling factors are considered and a mathematical model is built. This minimises the penalties for processing constraint violations in the steelmaking and hot rolling lot planning and maximises the hot charging rate as the optimization target. An algorithm containing neighborhood searches based on heuristic rules embedded in an evolutionary algorithm framework is established. The neighborhood solutions are generated by the heuristic rules according to different optimization strategies. The steelmaking and hot rolling lot planning and assignment of the shifts are then optimised.
