Abstract:
In this paper, we modeled and analyzed the hybrid characteristics, such as discrete events, continuous processes, stochastic factors, delay characteristics and conflict phenomena in the custom-tailor cyber-physical production system (CPPS). We also constructed a physical layer model of custom-tailor CPPS based on hybrid stochastic timed Petri net (HSTPN). By employing the HSTPNSim software, we investigated the continuous ironing process on different materials, the influence of time-delay and the qualification rate to customer satisfaction. These modeled results were compared with the Red-collar group's customized production pace. Our simulation results showed that the ironing process based on HSTPN can be successfully applied to different materials and that the customer satisfaction can be improved through measures such as parallel processing to the purchase and design, anti-scratch protection in logistics, and equipment upgrade. Therefore, the HSTPN model can effectively describe custom-tailor CPPS.
