Abstract:
To suppress the generation of zero-sequence current in a half-open winding linear motor system, we propose a direct thrust force control (DTFC) based on nonlinear inverter compensation. First, we analyze the operation mechanism of the zero-sequence current of the half-open winding linear motor. Second, we design a DTFC strategy based on a new switching table and then introduce a nonlinear inverter compensation. Finally, we verify the proposed DTFC by simulation experiments. Results show that the proposed DTFC can suppress the generation of zero-sequence current and improve the operation efficiency of the half-open winding linear motor system. The coefficient of zero sequences' current suppression performance of the proposed DTFC is about 0.07, indicating its good steady-state performance, excellent self-starting performance, and transient performance.
