Abstract:
To solve the problem that conventional anycast multi-target routing protocols cost abundant routing nodes and link resources due to the request for global network information,an anycast multi-target routing protocol based on mobile agent is proposed. In this protocol, only local network information is required and mobile agent is applied to the search for anycast member and the establishment of anycast routing table,so it costs less routing node resource and link resource. In routing table establishment sub-protocol,mobile agent is applied to the search for anycast member, the calculation of routing weight and the establishment of routing table. In packet forwarding sub-protocol,weighted-random selection(WRS) approach is applied to target selection in order to balance network traffic.Simulation experiments show that network timedelay performance of the protocol is improved due to the cost saving in routing nodes and link resource.
