Abstract:
In order to improve the resource-searching efficiency in unstructured P2P networks,an intellectualized topology mechanism based on maximum benefit is proposed. The concept of "value" is put forward to measure the peer's service capability. The topology is adjusted according to the heterogeneity in processing capability, physical location and interest.A pseudo "Super-Peer" topology is finally formed in which the nodes with powerful service capability act as the core and the near peers with similar interests form the "clusters".The experiment results indicate that the topology is helpful to enhance efficiency, reduce cost and restrain the "freerider" to some extent.
