Abstract:
The algorithm complexity will be significantly increased when the prior knowledge is used to obtain the iden-tification of multiple-input multiple-output with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(MIMO-OFDM) channels.In order to deal with this problem,a new scheme of phase shifted orthogonal angle-domain LS(least square) algorithm which has low complexity and doesn't need any prior information is designed.The idea of the proposed algorithm which is under the premise of the minimum mean square error(MSE) performance of LS algorithm depends on the spatial independence of channels between different transmit and receive antennas in angle domain.Then,the most significant taps(MST) technique is used to reduce the effect of noise on the estimates.Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm is of better performance.
