Abstract: Basic issues in NCS are introduced in this paper. Research achievements and advances are surveyed including architecture of network, modeling and design of linear and nonlinear NCS, co-design of control and scheduling, fault detection and fault-tolerant control. In the end the paper presents the key problems to be solved and further topics in this field.
