Abstract:
The modeling and control problems for a class of multiple input and multiple output(MIMO) networked control systems with communication constraints and network-induced delays are presented in this paper. The concerned networked control system(NCS) with multiple sensors and actuators is subjected to communication constraints, and at each instant only some of the sensors and actuators are able to gain accesses to the networks. The processes in which the sensors and the actuators communicate with the networks are described as two Markov chains. Then, under the assumption that both the sensor-controller delay and the controller-actuator delay are shorter than one sampling period, the closed-loop NCS is finally modeled as a Markovian switching system with two switching modes. With the linear matrix inequality(LMI) technique and the Lyapunov method, the sufficient condition for stochastic stability is derived for the closed-loop NCS,and the design method is also presented for the state feedback controller. Finally,an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
