Abstract: The use of Ethernet for device communication in industrial field level is increasing worldwide. The biggest obstacle that prevents Ethernet from being used in the real-time control environments is the deterministic communication. This paper discusses the demand of industrial deterministic communication and puts forward several proposals of real time Ethernet.
