Abstract:
A system level low power design technique for feeder terminal unit(FTU)is investigated while satisfying the real-time constraints.A master-slave CPU architecture is adopted in FTU,and task partitioning and real-time analysis for the master CPU are performed. Then static and dynamic low power scheduling algorithms of mixed tasks by using dynamic voltage scaling(DVS)technology are proposed. The simulation experiment shows that these algorithms can effectively decrease FTU power consumption.
