Abstract: Based on the principles of signal singularity, singularity point detection with wavelet theory, a method is presented to identify and process singularity point in signal data by wavelet. A principle is proposed to select wavelet functions for radar data singularity point detection. This method has been employed in analyzing radar data captured in a satellite launch mission. With this method, the data disappearing and re-capture points are correctly determined, the data singular points are accurately located, and the types of singuarity points are effectively classified.
