Abstract: This paper concentrates on the methods of design and implementation of an Internet-based information server system. By use of the techniques of multi-agent collaboration and mobile agent and learning of user behavior, user interests model was build, therefore, some active intelligent services for user can be provided by system, such as gathering information and filtering information, etc. In this way, the system can reduce labor cost and increase productivity by dealing with the "information overload" issue and performing various time-consuming and tedious tasks on user's behalf.
