Abstract:
A new type regulator,called ITAE Regulator,is designed to embody ITAE optimal control concept of series connective correction method originated in reference〔1〕.This regulator differs from other ordinary PID regulators in that it has a complexpole and a complex zero,parameters of both to be readjusted seperately.In responseto a unity step signal input,the regulator develops an output signal of convergentoscillation nature,from which a rapid and stationary optimal control may result.Twoactual design schemes are discussed and their simulation analyzed on analog computer.It turns out that ITAE regulator is not only of satisfactory regulative performance,but also convenient to readjust.
