Abstract: In this paper, artificial immune system and its applications in control field are presented. Firstly, the corresponding mechanisms of biological immune system that can be developed for artificial immune system are introduced briefly. Secondly, artificial immune network models and immune learning algorithms based on artificial immune system developed for application in control field are presented. Thirdly, the new applied researches served for control field based on artificial immune system are illustrated. Finally, the directions for further study are also provided.
