Abstract:
A node selection scheme is proposed for target localization with wireless sensor networks(WSNs).With both node measurement error and coordinate error taken into consideration, the root mean square error of target location estimation with different node sets is deduced, and then is used as the evaluation metric to select the optimal node set to carry out target location.Simulated results show that, compared with the traditional node selection schemes, the proposed scheme improves the target localization accuracy with the same number of nodes.
