Abstract:
The task of elevator group control systems is to transfer passengers effectively and improve the operational efficiency and service quality of elevators. The key to improving performance of elevator group control systems is to identify traffic flow pattern according to different traffic flow status in multi-storied building and adopt the optimal dispatching method to dispatch elevators. A method of intelligent multi-pattern elevator group control dispatching based on pattern recognition is proposed in this paper. The method can provide different group control strategies according to different traffic flows in a day; consequently, elevator service quality is improved. Simulation results show that the method is effective.
