Abstract: This paper proposes an improvement of MAC,i.e.the model algorithmic control.Our new method converts the prediction equation in conventional MAC into a statespace representation and consequently applies modern control theory to the analysis of MAC systems.The computation amount for implementing this method is much lessthan that for implementing conventional method and the system behaviors become evidently better.The control results of an experimental liquid level control system which used this method is given finally.
