Abstract: Some aspects of separability criterion for features extraction are surveyed in thispaper.A new separability criterion defined by entropy in arbitrary norm is introduced.Some characteristics of this criterion are analysed and proved.Quantitative method forcomparison of the performence of various criterion is also introduced,comparison is made for some criterions according to this method.Computing results indicate that thecriterion introduced in this paper is a very powerful separability criterion.
