Abstract: This paper introduces the advanced control principles,characteristics and strategies,and then studies and analyzes the application conditions of the advanced control in the fermentation process with nonlineamess, time varying and structural parameter uncertainty. Challenges faced by advanced control is pointed out, and the future application prospects in the fermentation process are viewed.
