Abstract:
Let us assume that a city is divided into two partxby a river (e,g. Wtihan and Chongqing in China)and more than two road brldges have been built over the river,This paper presents the mathematical model and solution algorithm of bridge tolls under the traffic equilibrium assignment with classes of multi-ve-hicle. This algorithm is developed in order that the revenue is maximized and/or the total travel time is minimized.An example with two bridges and three classes of vehicle is used to test the model and algorithm.
