Abstract: A new intelligent control idea—multicolour intelligent controller (MCIC) is presented in this paper from the summary that the intelligent control is an intersection of artificial intelligent, automatic control and information theory. Some concepts are expounded, including multicolour information space, multicolour behaviour space, multi-eolour-medel control rule set, extractive operator of information, behaviour and control, and multicolour mapping etc. Therewith, the construction and design method for MCIC are discussed. The industrial application is also given.
