多通道任意波形发生器精密相位控制方法

A Method of Precise Phase Control for Multi-Channel Arbitrary Waveform Generator

  • 摘要: 分析了多通道任意波形发生器的结构,并对输出信号相位差的调节方法进行了讨论,得到了不同相位调节方法的分辨率和调节范围.针对设计中由于时钟偏斜、通道延时引入的误差,提出了一种内嵌相位校准模块的多通道任意波形发生器的设计方法,对比了两种不同的相关算法进行相位差测量的优缺点,然后通过对同时采样后的两路信号进行相关运算,测量了相位差.通过实验对该相位控制方法进行了验证,证明了方法的有效性.

     

    Abstract: The structure of multi-channel arbitrary waveform generator(AWG) is analyzed,the methods for adjusting phase difference between output signals are discussed,and then the resolution and range of each adjusting method are obtained. For the error produced by clock skew and channel delay in the design,a method of multi-channel AWG with phase calibration module embedded is presented.The advantages and disadvantages of two correlation algorithms in measuring phase difference are discussed.The correlation algorithm is carried after sampling two signals simultaneously for measuring phase difference.Then,the experiments about controlling phase difference are conducted,and the results show that the method is feasible.
