Abstract: The current ways to monitoring the airline operation are analyzed, and the shortcomings in the monitoringprocess are pointed out. Based on the analysis of factors influencing airline operation and Dempster-Shafer (DS) evidencefusion theory, a new assessment method for airline operation monitoring is proposed. The new method can fuse fuzzyand uncertain information formed in number of experts’ scores, so what the evaluation results will be more objective thantraditional way. An example shows that the method can get objective and accurate solutions, and that its implementationprocess is simple.
