Prospect of Machine Textual Research on Documentation in Chinese

摘要: 本文以《红楼梦》作者的考证为例，指出了史料考证的局限性，并以电子计算机为手段，探讨了中文资料的机器考证问题与前景．Abstract: Taking for an example the textual research on the author of a classical Novel——‘A Dream of Red Mansions’(‘Hong Lou Meng’), this paper indicates the limitation of conventional textual Research Approaches to Chinese historical data, and reveals the promising prospect of computer use.
