A KIND OF GROWTH MODEL FOR MIXED CULTURES AND ITS APPLICATION IN STRAIN SELECTION

  • 摘要: 本文以丙酮丁醇连续发酵过程为背景,提出了一类微生物混合生长模型.对此模型进行仿真,可确定在连续发酵系统中使用的各枝(批)菌株的实际操作周期,继而通过物料衡算计算出该菌株的得率.菌株得率的实时计算是连续发酵过程中进行菌株筛选的基础.各菌株得率的高低可被用作评判其优劣的标准,并可据此指导实际生产过程中的菌株选用,以达降低原料消耗的目的.

     

    Abstract: Based on the continuous fermentation process using a group of mutants of clostridium acetobutylicum,a mathematical model for such kind of mixed cultures was proposed.It can be used to determine the staying period of each of substantially used mutants with a given superior concentration in a continuous fermentation system.Then the yield of each mutant can be calculated using daily analysis data.By the comparison of yields of various mutants,better mutants,which have higher yields and more stable fermenting activities,can be selected.
