CHOW TEST BASED OPTIMAL PIECEWISE MODELING

  • 摘要: 基于已知变点Chow检验问题研究,提出了最优二分段建模方法.该方法将变结构参数稳定性分析、变结构点数的检测、变点位置的诊断与估计及变结构检验统一处理,计算方便、实用.经济实例的分析及仿真研究结果都验证了所提方法的有效性.

     

    Abstract: Based on research on Chow test of model with known change points, an optimal modeling approach to econometric model with structure change is proposed, which carries out stability analysis of parameters, detection of change points, diagnose for location of change points, and test for structure change of parameters simultaneously. The method is simple in form and has the advantage of computation. Practical examples and numerical simulation results show the efficiency and applicability of the proposed approach in practice.
