Event-triggered Fault-tolerant Control for Networked T-S Fuzzy Systems

  • We examine the problem of fault-tolerant control in networked Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems based on an event-triggered communication scheme. First, to reduce the number of transmitted packets, we provide an event-triggered communication scheme for networked T-S fuzzy systems with stochastic actuator faults. Secondly, we build a novel time-delay model with consideration of the event-triggered communication scheme, asynchronous premise variables, and stochastic actuator faults. Then, using a Lyapunov functional approach, we derive less conservative criteria for the mean-square sense, asymptotically stable, and fault-tolerant controller design. An illustrative example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed method.
