Aluminium-extrusion-oriented Job Scheduling and Optimization

  • Based on studies of aluminum extrusion production characteristics, we build two aluminum extrusion scheduling models to minimize the total flow time. We use an improved artificial bee colony algorithm to solve the models. The algorithm redesigns the expression and generation of solutions according to the characteristics of the aluminum extrusion production scheduling problem. The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the total product processing flow time.
