Design of Intelligent Fault Diagnosis and Early Warning System of Motors

  • Determining the running state of a motor prior to the occurrence of various faults and giving an early warning signal about a fault that is about to occur are important. Through an analysis of the characteristics of motor fault precursors and abnormal operating states, we determine the diagnosis parameters of motor faults and present a new concept of intelligent motor. We then establish a low-cost and intelligent fault diagnosis and an automatic early warning system that can identify a fault in the motor in the early stage and send out an early warning signal automatically by collecting and processing the state parameters as the motor operates. The motor running status parameters are stored in large amounts, which is convenient for further analysis of the causes of the motor fault. This system also incorporates the concept of the Internet to create a motor running data network, thereby providing a highly accurate and practical intelligent fault diagnosis and early warning system.
