Reconfigurability Analysis for a Class of Meta Aircraft Based on Interconnected System Method

  • For a class of interconnected linear systems, we design centralized and distributed fault-tolerant control laws to drive the initial states of the faulty system to the origin based on "controllability Gramian" and control energy cost functions. Then we establish a reconfigurability evaluation scheme based on the amount of input control energy cost we derived. A meta aircraft is a configuration that consists of multiple independent aircraft physically connected together, and thus is often modeled as an interconnected system. Theoretical results are then applied to a meta aircraft configuration which can stabilize the post-fault system, and the reconfigurability evaluation schemes are obtained.
